David Burstin, an industry expert on non qualified plans and executive perquisite plans, has played a leadership role in the insurance industry for many decades.

A Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Mr. Burstin was a founding partner in Brand Burstin & Runnette, an insurance and employee benefits firm founded in 1977.

Throughout his career, David has received numerous industry awards. He also is a guest lecturer and instructor at Robert Morris University, Purdue University, the Life Underwriter Training Council, The American College and the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh.

David serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, as well as Past Chairman of the Board of the United Jewish Federation and Campaign Leader of the United Way of Allegheny County. He also was a Director of the Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company.

He earned his B.S. degree in Insurance from The Pennsylvania State University and received his Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Services from The American College.
